Convent of the Meeting of our Lord in the Temple

Established in July 1999 with the help of the parish of St. Nectarios, the Convent of the Meeting of the Lord in the Temple is a Metochion of Holy Nativity Convent in Brookline, Massachusetts. The convent, located in a rural area about an hour north by car from downtown Seattle, is a small community which maintains a full cycle of services and strives to support itself by its own labors. They produce fine, hand poured, pure beeswax votive candles and tealights, and have a lovely gift shop with candles, candle-related and other items, which is open to the public on Saturdays and by appointment.
